About this role:
As Business Development Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying and creating mutually beneficial, strategic relationships on behalf of Youthforce with STEM employers, specifically in relation to the science sector, across London and the South.
Our values are core to all we do at Youthforce, so operating with integrity, credibility and an ability to listen are critical in order to maintain the trust that our clients and apprentices place in us. This is a consultative role, and one that requires you to be out in the field networking and developing partnerships with new and key accounts so that you can spot, generate and nurture opportunities for the creation and fulfilment of apprenticeship vacancies. Our Business Development Consultants carry a target so you will be a tenacious, assertive and solution-focused professional who can manage multiple stakeholders and agendas – while simultaneously demonstrating a natural desire and flair for closing the deal. You will be driven by hitting your target, but not at the expense of all else.
You will need a proven track record of B2B sales and the ambition to grow our market share via a combination of new and repeat business in your target location and field. You will also need to keep your finger on the pulse of both market trends and government policy to demonstrate current awareness of how employers will need to recruit and develop their workforces over the coming years.
