James has over 6 years experience within recruitment and business development. Before joining Youthforce, he worked for 5 years has a Head-hunter in the civil engineering and nuclear sectors. He worked exclusively in sourcing the leading tunnelling talents for Crossrail Ltd. as well as working on a retained basis for multiple international contractors and design consultancies on many diverse hard to find roles in the UK and abroad.
Since joining Youthforce, James has been personally responsible in growing the number of schools employing apprentices across the south coast of England and is regularly consulting schools and Multiple Academy Trusts (MATs) on the apprenticeship levy. Over the last year and half, James has been fundamental in growing Youthforce’s presence with 14 MATs and has increased the number of schools employing apprentices in East Sussex to over 30 schools.
Outside of Youthforce, James captains St Peters Cricket Club in Brighton and has a keen interest in anything Italian!
