As part of our growing team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills across a range of functions providing support to the recruitment, finance and operations departments. The desired candidate will have the drive to develop a varied skillset and contribute to the development of a growing training provider.

The role will include:

  • A 360 degree view of the business (involving Recruitment, Finance, Operations and the opportunity to work alongside our CEO).
  • Contributing to the development of a strategy and business plan.
  • Shadowing all of the departments of the business.
  • An opportunity for a full time job at the end of the apprenticeship for the right candidate.

Future prospects

Learners can progress onto the Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship in Business & Professional Administration, further or higher education to undertake business related or other qualifications, a range of business and management undergraduate programmes or other business professional qualifications at level 4 and above. Successful apprentices may also continue in their job role and undertake a range of professional job-specific qualifications and training with the possibility of a promotion.

Desired skills

  • Experience of working as part of a team in a flexible and cooperative manner
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Windows & Office software including WORD, EXCEL and Outlook
  • Good standard of written English with the ability to draft, layout & format reports, correspondence & documents; good understanding of grammar & spelling
  • Good typing skills – ideally touch typing
  • Organised approach, attentiveness to detail and good planning skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • A good work attendance record, with no health problems likely to impact adversely on performance in post
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information & discretion when handling sensitive information.

Qualifications required

The preferred candidate will have achieved a Grade C/4 or higher in GCSE English and Maths, or an equivalent such as Functional Skills Level 2. In some cases, consideration may be given to candidates who lack these qualifications though have considerable experience in a relevant sector; however this is at the discretion of the employer.
