[heading]What’s it like to work at Youthforce?[/heading]
“Youthforce is a forward-thinking, flexible and small business. It’s dynamic and always looking to the future. The people are so nice and easy to get on with, it is very friendly and helpful; if there are any problems I can get a hold of someone and they will help.
My role at Youthforce is science trainer and assessor. I really enjoy working with the students and loved working in a laboratory myself as I was a Chemist for 14 years. It’s great helping students take their first step onto the career ladder.
I started working at Youthforce because I enjoy assessor work and science apprenticeships are rare. I was looking for more opportunities and that’s when I found Youthforce, I liked the look of the work and the company was small, dynamic, and had good values. At the interview I met Charlotte (the CEO) who I really liked; her vision had the student’s best interests at heart, and that was important for me.”
